Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
• Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed estimates using estimating software and auto service management tools
• Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs to enhance vehicle performance and safety
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
• Maintain accurate service writing records, process cash handling transactions, and manage customer invoices efficiently
• Communicate effectively with clients about vehicle diagnostics, repair progress, and recommended future maintenance to foster trust and satisfaction
• Utilize automotive diagnostics skills to assist in estimating repairs accurately and understanding complex mechanical issues

Skills

• Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role with dealership experience preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes
• Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, oil change procedures, tire service, brake repair, suspension systems, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repair techniques
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust
• Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and managing client communication effectively
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving various vehicle types

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
