Automotive Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Experience with heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and electrical systems is highly valued. The technician will work with a range of tools and diagnostic schematics to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles and equipment, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic schematics to identify issues accurately
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
• Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures and heavy lifting activities
• Document repair procedures and communicate findings effectively to team members and customers
• Assist in the assembly or disassembly of vehicle components or industrial equipment when required

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
• Hands-on experience with automotive repair including engine diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for complex mechanical or electrical systems
• Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and specialized maintenance equipment
• Prior customer service experience is beneficial for effective communication with clients
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
