Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various vehicles and heavy equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Perform repairs and maintenance on automobiles, excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently
• Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear, ensuring all machinery operates safely and reliably
• Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems accurately
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for each job performed
• Assist with assembly or disassembly of machinery components during repairs or upgrades

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance
• Dealership experience is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or industrial equipment
• Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics related to automotive or industrial machinery
• Familiarity with welding techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools in repair tasks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
