Automotive Technician

Vollux Autowerks is actively hiring an Automotive Technician for our European and performance shop in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania.

Our immediate priority is an experienced technician who can independently take ownership of involved mechanical work from initial evaluation and disassembly through repair, reassembly, verification, and documentation. We will also consider students, developing technicians, and specialists at other experience levels. Responsibilities, compensation, and opportunity will be matched to demonstrated capability.

THE WORK

The work assigned will depend on demonstrated ability and may include:

• PA safety inspections and emissions work

• Factory maintenance and fluid services

• Brakes, suspension, steering, and chassis repairs

• Vehicle evaluations and clear recommendations

• General mechanical repair on European and performance vehicles

• Diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting

• Involved mechanical work for qualified technicians, including timing and valvetrain work, engine-out repairs, transmission work, and other major repairs

• Clear documentation and post-repair verification

EXPERIENCE WE VALUE

Our immediate need is for someone who can independently own involved repairs without step-by-step assistance. Automotive education, apprenticeship, professional shop experience, European vehicle experience, diagnostic and electrical ability, PA safety or emissions licensing, and engine, transmission, higher-end, or performance vehicle experience are all valuable. Applicants do not need every qualification to be considered.
