Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, transmission, suspension, and powertrain components.
• Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
• Conduct alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure optimal handling and safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines as well as GM vehicles, applying specialized knowledge where necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. 10-15 years of experience.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and software.
• Solid understanding of vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical systems, transmission, and suspension.
• Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills using hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Knowledge of auto estimating processes for accurate repair planning.
• Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients.
