Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
• Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive axles, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to optimize handling and safety standards.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems such as lighting, sensors, and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems).
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs with precision.
• Service vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, and electronic modules to ensure reliable operation.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and managing expectations effectively.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with schematics interpretation and automotive wiring diagrams is essential for accurate diagnostics.
• Experience working on ADAS technology, vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and powertrain components is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes and models.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, auto estimating software, and understanding automotive electrical systems.
• Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices.
• Strong customer service skills paired with excellent communication abilities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Pay: $38,800.00 - $108,000.00 per year
