Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems.
• Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems.
• Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to ensure safe handling and ride quality.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Service vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems such as powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical wiring, and ADAS technology.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including alignment, transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
• Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Familiarity with auto estimating processes for repairs and parts ordering is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
