What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission.
• Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical wiring.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Conduct vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs while adhering to safety standards.
• Diagnose complex mechanical problems on Ford vehicles and other makes/models with precision and clarity.
• Collaborate with team members to estimate repair costs accurately (auto estimating) and communicate findings effectively to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and power tools essential for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Mechanical knowledge spanning powertrain components, vehicle suspension system repair, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics confidently while applying best practices in vehicle systems diagnostics.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
• Experience working with Ford vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
