Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance.
• Repair and replace vehicle suspension systems, alignments, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation to restore safety and functionality.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for tasks such as welding, vehicle transmission system repair, and general mechanical work.
• Inspect and service automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other vehicle systems to meet manufacturer standards.
• Document repair procedures thoroughly, provide accurate auto estimating for repairs, and communicate findings clearly to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance including powertrain repairs, suspension system repair, and transmission work.
• Mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with automotive wiring diagrams and electronic systems such as ADAS.
• Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients.
• Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; ongoing training in automotive electrical systems or GM vehicles is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
