Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision.
• Troubleshoot advanced systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and utilize schematics for complex repairs.
• Interpret automotive electrical diagrams and schematics to diagnose wiring issues or electrical faults effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles if applicable.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of diagnostic tools for troubleshooting engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems.
• Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and schematics.
• Experience repairing vehicle transmission systems, powertrains, suspension systems, and diesel engines is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand automotive service manuals and schematics thoroughly.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments and system inspections.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic components is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment in a fast-paced environment.
