Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems.
• Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to improve handling and ride quality.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems in systems such as lighting, sensors, and ADAS features.
• Service diesel engines and other specialized powertrain components with precision and adherence to manufacturer standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts efficiently.
• Maintain detailed service records, perform auto estimating for repairs, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines.

Skills

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and interpreting vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and advanced diagnostic tools for accurate troubleshooting.
• Mechanical knowledge covering powertrain systems, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, ADAS technology, and vehicle transmission system repair.
• Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and other automotive service machinery.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
