We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues with various vehicle systems.
• Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive axles, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to optimize handling and safety.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems and install or repair wiring as needed.
• Service and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety features.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently and safely.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, including the use of diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and transmission systems.
• Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics accurately.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, including diesel engine repair and vehicle transmission system repair.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Proficiency in using automotive electrical systems, alignment equipment, and power tools.
• Valid mechanic or technician certification; ASE certification is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
