Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, transmission, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs (gasoline and diesel), transmission system repairs, suspension system adjustments, wheel alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to facilitate precise repairs.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out mechanical repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and document diagnostic findings clearly for each vehicle serviced.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and uphold high-quality service standards.
• Stay current with industry advancements such as ADAS technology updates and new diagnostic procedures to enhance service capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, vehicle transmission, electrical wiring diagrams, suspension systems, and vehicle maintenance protocols.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
• Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and working on GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with automotive wiring diagrams and electrical systems interpretation.
• Demonstrated skill in using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and other automotive service tools effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle diagnostics and repairs.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
