Midway Auto & RV has been serving the Cody area for over 20 years. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Mechanical Know-How: You’ve worked in the industry for at least 1 year and have the tools necessary to complete projects.

Problem Solver: You can figure things out and come up with out of the box solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various makes and models, including engine, transmission, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and develop effective solutions. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used. Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Assist in training junior technicians as needed to promote skill development within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work tasks.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Owns the necessary tools for automotive repairs and maintenance.
