Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, steering, brakes, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive systems on GM vehicles or similar models.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Proficiency in reading automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and understanding vehicle electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, vehicle transmission system repair, and wheel alignment procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, and overall automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools such as scan tools and software for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals accurately and work efficiently using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; experience working with GM vehicles is a plus.
