Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
• Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and related systems, with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to ensure optimal handling and safety.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within automotive electrical systems effectively.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, or replace mechanical parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Stay current with the latest automotive technologies including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repairs to provide top-tier service.
• Document all repairs accurately using auto estimating software while maintaining high standards of customer service by explaining repairs clearly to clients.

Experience

• Prior experience in dealership or independent repair facility 2+ years.
• ASE or Factory training preferred
• Dealership experience is highly desirable, especially familiarity with Asian imports
• Hands-on experience interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and software used for diagnosing complex vehicle issues.
• Mechanical knowledge covering engine performance, transmission systems, vehicle suspension systems, and electrical components.
• Experience working with vehicle systems such as ADAS technology, powertrain components, transmission repair, and diesel engines is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients.

Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
