Automotive Technician

Coughlin Kia of Dublin is on the move - literally. We've relocated from Dublin to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility off of Post Road by Costco in Plain City to support our rapid growth and our new store has 40 service bays as Coughlin continues to have growth in our company! We're looking to hire Automotive Service Technicians. This position offers a competitive wage dependent on experience. Our flat-rate hour compensation program allows you to maximize your earning potential.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

• Automobile repair experience
• Knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in vehicle repair and maintenance

The work schedule is flexible, typically around 40 hours per week, but there is no cap on hours turned for flat rate techs. Service departments are closed on Sundays and only open until 6 pm during the week.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and repair damaged parts
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
