Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Automotive Technicians who can independently diagnose and repair vehicles in the field. If you are strong with diagnostics, major mechanical repairs, electrical systems, or diesel, we want to talk to you.

Pay: $40 to $65 per hour depending on experience and skill level

Estimated annual earnings: $90,000+

Schedule: Full Time or Part Time

Location: San Jose, CA

What You Will Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and import vehicles
• Perform advanced mechanical repairs including timing jobs, engine replacements, engine swaps, and major drivetrain repairs
• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot sensors, wiring, modules, charging systems, and communication networks
• Use professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and solve complex vehicle problems
• Travel to customer locations and complete repairs in the field
• Use the NOVO Repairs app to receive assignments, communicate with customers, update job status, and document completed work
• Explain diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment at each job

What We Are Looking For

• At least 6 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with major mechanical repairs
• Experience with timing jobs, engine replacements, engine swaps, or similar advanced repairs
• Own professional tools
• Reliable vehicle for transporting tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Additional compensation may be available for technicians with advanced diesel capabilities.
