Automotive Technician/Dismantler

A-1 Auto Recyclers is a locally owned family business. We have been an auto parts recycler in Rapid City for over 50 years. Looking for self-motivated individual with great time management and problem-solving skills who can work well in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Dismantling vehicles to stock warehouses
• Inspect components to determine their quality and condition
• Diagnose/ troubleshoot automobile issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Automotive experience
• Must have own tools, hand and air tools
• Capable of being on feet/walking throughout the day
• Valid driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Able to physically lift heavy items (up to but not limited to 75lbs)
• Forklift experience helpful
