Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Exhaust Technician to join our muffler shop team. In this hands-on role, you will weld and install mufflers, build custom exhaust systems, and perform routine oil changes. No previous experience is required, though it is appreciated. We will train the right person who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Weld and install mufflers, pipes, and other exhaust components
• Fabricate and install custom exhaust systems to customer specifications
• Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance
• Inspect vehicles and identify exhaust problems
• Keep the shop, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Follow all shop procedures and safety rules
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and management about job progress

Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding, exhaust, or automotive work is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others
• Basic hand and power tool knowledge is helpful
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet, including bending and crawling under vehicles
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
