Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The Automotive Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and replacements on various automotive components.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
• Ensure alignment of vehicles is performed accurately to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle status and repair options.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous training.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership or repair shop setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Familiarity with ADAS technologies and their applications in modern vehicles is preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.

Understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures, including diesel engine repair when applicable.

• Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with auto estimating processes is a plus.
• Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
