Automotive Technician

Overview
Crown Toyota is seeking a skilled, motivated, and professional ASE-certified Automotive Service Technician to join out service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, with a commitment to quality workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, follows manufacturer repair procedures, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and consistently demonstrates professionalism and accountability.

Duties

• Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with Toyota manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and service information.
• Complete multi-point inspections and clearly document vehicle conditions and recommended repairs.
• Identify additional maintenance and repair needs and communicate findings accurately to the service advisors.
• Maintain high standards for repair quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Follow all Toyota repair procedures, technical service bulletins, warranty requirements, and dealership policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Stay current with Toyota technical training, ASE certifications, and evolving automotive technology.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, technicians, and management to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Take ownership of assigned work and ensure repairs are completed correctly and within established time expectations.

Qualifications

• Current ASE certification in applicable automotive service areas.
• Proven experience as a automotive technician in a dealership of professional repair facility.
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use professional diagnostic tools, scan tools, and electronic service information systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality repairs.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented service department.
• Professional communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with reasonable accomodation.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and technical training.
