Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring the optimal performance of vehicles.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including powertrain, electrical, and diesel engines.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to ensure high-quality service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in the automotive service industry.
• Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and diesel engine repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Level B

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
