Role Description The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic inspections across multiple makes and models. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting work performed in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. The Automotive Technician will work closely with service advisors to clarify customer concerns, provide repair estimates, and ensure timely completion of service orders. The role involves using diagnostic tools and equipment, following safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Oil Changes, with the ability to perform routine service efficiently and accurately.
• Experience in Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Knowledge of Suspension systems, with the ability to inspect and repair related components as needed.
• Relevant technical training or certification in automotive technology; ASE certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic reports.
• Proficient with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a service team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility to operate customer and dealership vehicles.
