Automotive Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by accurately identifying issues and efficiently executing repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Repair or replace vehicle components such as engines (including diesel engines), transmissions, axles, suspension systems, and electrical wiring.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with precision and safety.
• Perform wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure proper handling and safety standards.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience in an automotive repair setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and automotive electrical systems.
• Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to diagnose issues related to powertrain, vehicle transmission systems, vehicle suspension systems, and ADAS technology.
• Familiarity with auto estimating processes and maintaining accurate repair documentation.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical devices required for vehicle repair.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
