Linus Cadillac Buick GMC is seeking an skilled Automotive Technician with a positive attitude and a aptitude to properly diagnose and repair todays vehicles to join our team. Must have experience with a strong focus on GM Vehicles and Diesel engine repair. This is a full time position.

Salary Based On Experience And Certifications Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine repair, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and fluid service
• Use hand tools and power tools, and diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot vehicle issues
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service information
• Provide accurate repair estimates and document work preformed
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards
• Maintain clean , safe and organized work area
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• Gm and /or Diesel engine experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of engine repairs and powertrain systems
• Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills

ASE certification recommended Valid drivers license
