Nimnicht Buick GMC is looking for an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician who is ready to put their skills to work in a busy dealership environment with serious earning potential. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong transmission diagnostic and repair experience
• Ability to diagnose complex transmission and drivetrain concerns
• Experience with transmission repair, replacement, and rebuilding
• GM training and certifications strongly preferred
• GM dealership experience is a major plus
• Strong electrical and diagnostic abilities
• Experience using scan tools and manufacturer diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Must have your own professional technician tools
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Dependable, motivated, and ready to work
• Be able to pass a background and pre-employment drug test

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Diagnosing automatic transmission and drivetrain concerns
• Performing transmission repairs, replacements, and rebuilds
• Diagnosing torque converter, differential, driveline, and related concerns
• Performing advanced mechanical and electronic diagnostics
• Completing warranty and customer-pay repairs
• Following GM/manufacturer repair procedures and specifications
• Accurately documenting diagnostic findings and completed repairs
• Maintaining strong productivity and efficiency
• Delivering quality repairs with a focus on minimizing comebacks
