Autonomous Truck Integration & Validation Engineer

24-Month Contract

Join a team developing and validating autonomous mining truck technology for one of the world's leading heavy equipment manufacturers.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work directly with autonomous machines, execute test plans, collect and analyze data, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and collaborate with development teams to improve system performance and reliability.

What You'll Do:

✅ Execute field tests on autonomous trucks and mining equipment

✅ Develop and review test & validation plans

✅ Investigate machine faults and perform root cause analysis

✅ Analyze logs, diagnostics, and test data

✅ Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues

✅ Document findings and communicate results to engineering teams

✅ Support integration and validation of new autonomous features

Ideal Background:

✔ Test Engineer, Validation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Controls Engineer, Systems Engineer, Vehicle Test Engineer, or Field Test Engineer

✔ Experience with:

• Vehicle or equipment testing & validation
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• CAN, J1939, UDS, CANalyzer, CANape, or diagnostic tools
• ADAS, autonomous systems, robotics, automotive, mining, off-highway, agriculture, aerospace, or heavy equipment
• Linux/Ubuntu environments
• Electrical schematics and diagnostics

Nice to Have:

⭐ Autonomous vehicles or ADAS experience ⭐ Heavy equipment, mining, construction, agricultural, or commercial truck background ⭐ Data acquisition and test reporting experience
