Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Breakout Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing video and audio equipment during live events or broadcasts, ensuring seamless transitions and high-quality output. This role requires proficiency with various video switchers and digital audio mixers, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Roland video switchers and ATEM video switchers to facilitate smooth video transitions and switching during live productions.
• Use digital audio mixers such as QL6 or TF1 to control audio levels, ensure clear sound quality, and troubleshoot audio issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to execute technical cues accurately and maintain synchronization across all media elements.
• Monitor live feeds and make real-time adjustments to ensure optimal visual and audio quality.
• Assist in setting up, testing, and troubleshooting video and audio equipment prior to events or broadcasts.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating Roland video switchers, ATEM video switchers, and digital audio mixers like QL6 or TF1.
• Strong understanding of live production workflows, including switching, mixing, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to anticipate technical needs during live events.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends as required by event schedules.
