Duties

• Safely operate box trucks up to 26', cargvans, and personal vehicles for transporting AV equipment between warehouses, clients, and event sites
• Load and unload heavy audiovisual gear using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, organizing equipment, and preparing items for delivery or storage
• Ensure all deliveries comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and adhere to traffic laws
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Support the moving of equipment within warehouses or event locations using appropriate manual handling practices
• Deliver and pick up equipment from event venues, hotels, convention centers, and other locations
• Safely load, unload, and secure equipment and road cases
• Assist with event load-ins and load-outs
• Pull and stage equipment for upcoming jobs
• Receive and organize returning equipment
• Scan, inventory, and check equipment for basic condition
• Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and ready for production
• Work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules

Experience

• Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling and inventory management
• Experience operating box trucks, vans, or similar commercial vehicles
• Prior delivery driving experience involving route planning and adhering to traffic regulations a plus
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and proper use of manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Familiarity with DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe vehicle operation
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively during deliveries and pickups
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain medical DOT card
• Able to safely lift, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Previous AV, event production, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus
• CDL is generally not required. Additional licensing or DOT requirements may apply depending on the vehicle and assignment.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
