Position Summary
NFCF Solutions is seeking an experienced AV Programmer / Commissioning Engineer to perform integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and end-user training for a professional AV installation.
This is the most specialized technical position on the four-person field team.
Responsibilities
- Configure installed AV equipment
- Perform DSP configuration and audio tuning
- Configure AV control and signal-routing components
- Verify AV endpoint communication
- Conduct end-to-end signal-flow testing
- Troubleshoot audio, video and control-system issues
- Verify display/projector performance
- Test microphones and speaker systems
- Optimize system audio performance
- Conduct final functional testing
- Support Government/customer acceptance activities
- Document final system configurations
- Back up relevant system configurations
- Assist with onsite end-user training
- Support technical turnover and closeout
Required Skills
- Professional AV system programming and commissioning
- DSP configuration

- Digital AV signal routing
- Video signal troubleshooting
- Networked AV fundamentals
- System commissioning
- Technical documentation
- Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting capability
Highly Preferred Skills
- Crestron programming/integration
- Q-SYS programming/integration
- Dante or other networked-audio experience
- Commercial DSP configuration
- AV-over-IP knowledge
- CTS/CTS-D or relevant manufacturer certifications
- Federal/DoD AV experience
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
