AV Safety Operator

About the role

As a Safety Operator, you'll be at the forefront of one of the world's fastest‑growing industries. You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered autonomous vehicles, including robobus, robotaxi, robosweepers, and robovans. Autonomous mobility is transforming transportation and creating exciting new career paths — demand for skilled Safety Operators is rapidly growing.

Key responsibilities

• Sit in the driver's seat, ready to take control of the autonomous vehicle at any moment, ensuring the safety of all passengers, road users, and the vehicle
• Continuously monitor the vehicle's systems and surroundings, anticipating and responding to any potential safety issues in real-time
• Adhere to and enforce strict safety protocols
• Engage with passengers or the public
• Promptly document and report any incidents or near-misses

About you

• Valid class 3/4 driving license is required
• 0 demerits points for the past 3 years is preferred
• Actively driving in the past 3 years
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills
• Commitment to safety and responsible driving practices
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Comfortable communicating in English and Mandarin
