AV Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and support meeting room AV systems, executive boardrooms, video conferencing systems, collaboration spaces, digital signage and wireless presentation systems.
• Conduct daily AV system checks and ensure meeting rooms are ready for use.
• Provide AV support for meetings, presentations, townhalls, training sessions, hybrid meetings and corporate events.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment testing, firmware updates and basic fault diagnosis.
• Respond to AV-related service requests and troubleshoot equipment and connectivity issues.
• Provide user support and basic guidance on meeting room and collaboration technologies, including Teams Rooms.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs, installations, maintenance and technology upgrades.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory, service records and incident reports.
• Escalate major technical issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Provide pre- and post-event setup support, including standby support when required. Overtime may be required for events.
• Ensure AV systems are maintained to provide a reliable and seamless user experience.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant AV / audiovisual experience.
• Hands-on experience with AV systems, video conferencing, displays, audio systems and presentation technologies.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar collaboration platforms is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of network connectivity and AV control systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and respond effectively under pressure.
• Willing to support events outside normal working hours when required.
• Experience in a corporate office or integrated facilities management environment is preferred.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 7 am to 4 pm
