AV Technician

Location: Central
Working Days: 5.5 days per week
Employment Type: Full-Time
Walking Distance: Approximately 10 minutes from the nearest point of access

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot and maintain PA, AV and Video Conferencing (VC) systems and equipment.

• Conduct routine checks on AV/VC systems and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Perform pre-event checks for meetings, training sessions and functions, including:

  • Projectors
  • Speakers and sound systems
  • Microphones
  • TV/monitor screens
  • Video Conferencing equipment

• Support the setup and smooth operation of events and functions.

• Attend to users' requests, queries, feedback and complaints relating to AV/VC systems.

• Provide technical advice and operational support for audio-visual requirements.

• Respond promptly to report or detect faults, investigate the cause and recommend/perform the necessary repairs.

• Liaise with event organizers on event logistics, AV requirements and setup arrangements.

• Ensure safety and compliance within the AV storage area.

• Assist with general building/facilities and M&E maintenance where required. Training will be provided.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Nitec or Diploma in Electrical, Communications, Electronics Engineering or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant AV/VC working experience in Singapore.

• Good knowledge of:

  • Audio systems
  • Video conferencing systems
  • TV/monitor screens
  • AV cables and connections

• Experience in troubleshooting AV/VC equipment and systems.

• Willing to assist with general Building/M&E maintenance.

• Able to work independently with good time management and problem-solving skills.

• Singaporeans only.
