AV Technician

• Install, configure, test, and commission Audio Visual (AV) systems and equipment.
• Install and set up projectors, projection screens, LED video walls, displays, and video conferencing systems.
• Install, connect, and troubleshoot microphones, speakers, amplifiers, audio mixers, and Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).
• Perform cable termination for RCA, BNC, VGA, DMX, XLR, RJ45, and RS-232 connections.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of AV equipment and systems.
• Attend client complaints and troubleshoot faults in installed AV and lighting systems.
• Conduct Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) visits and inspect the functionality of AV equipment.
• Perform testing and commissioning of AV racks, microphones, mixers, DSPs, projectors, screens, and stage lighting systems.
• Install and configure video conferencing systems in meeting rooms, conference rooms, and auditoriums.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of stage lighting systems, lighting consoles, and DMX controllers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation layouts.
• Identify equipment faults, diagnose technical issues, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Provide technical support during meetings, conferences, presentations, exhibitions, and live events.
• Ensure proper cable routing, termination, labeling, and equipment rack organization.
• Coordinate with AV supervisors, project engineers, electricians, and other site personnel during installation and commissioning.
• Conduct system performance checks and ensure equipment is operational before client handover.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, commissioning checklists, and equipment inspection logs.
• Assist with client demonstrations and provide basic operational guidance for installed AV systems.
• Follow company procedures, project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
• Support AV-over-IP systems, network connectivity, and IP-based control systems where applicable.
• Travel to client sites and project locations as required for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
