AV Technician

Job Summary

The Audio Visual (A/V) support technician role will be responsible for implementation and support of video conferencing and conference room audio/visual solutions.

Need hands on troubleshooting and maintenance of systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform conference room health checks to ensure audio visual and video conferencing systems are operating at optimal conditions

· Resolve and track support requests and incidents, escalate issues to proper support teams

· Support A/V upgrades and installations

· Facilitate A/V vendor activities

· Support and troubleshoot Apple devices (Apple TVs, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs)

· Track and document A/V inventory

Key Qualifications

· Good understanding of video conferencing and AV switching and control hardware (Cisco, Crestron, Extron preferred)

· Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts

· Excellent problem solving abilities

· Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time

· Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)

· Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience and Education

· 1+ years related experience

· Certified A/V Technician preferred

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
