AvioDesign is an aviation certification infrastructure partner connecting aviation organizations with independent certification professionals, engineering resources, and specialized technical capabilities.

Through our established specialist network, we coordinate the resources organizations need to support engineering documentation, certification approvals, aircraft modifications, and complex certification programs.

Through our established network of independent professionals and technical organizations, we support MROs, installation facilities, engineering organizations, STC holders, OEMs, and other aviation businesses with engineering and certification requirements.

As our relationships and project opportunities continue to expand, we're strengthening our specialist network to support growing demand heading into 2027.

Opportunities Available

We're seeking experienced independent professionals and organizations across a broad range of aviation engineering and certification disciplines, including:

• FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) — all disciplines
• FAA Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs)
• Aviation Engineering Organizations & Independent Engineers — structures, avionics, electrical, mechanical, systems, and other disciplines
• Electrical and Mechanical CAD Specialists — including aircraft wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and engineering documentation
• Specialized Engineering and Certification Organizations

We also welcome inquiries from professionals with other specialized aviation capabilities who believe their expertise could contribute to our network.

How Our Network Operates

AvioDesign works with independent specialists and organizations on a project-by-project basis, matching technical expertise with client requirements.

Network participants maintain their independent operations while collaborating with AvioDesign on assignments suited to their qualifications and capabilities.

Opportunities may include individual technical deliverables, engineering documentation, certification approvals, specialized analysis, or participation in larger multidisciplinary programs.

Engagements are based on project requirements, qualifications, availability, and mutually agreed terms.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Demonstrated professional experience in their respective aviation technical discipline
• Familiarity with applicable FAA certification requirements and industry practices, where relevant
• The ability to work independently and deliver professional technical work products
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Applicable FAA designations or authorizations for positions requiring them
