Aviation Security Officer

Role Overview:

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the protection of company's critical assets, facilities, and client aircraft through effective security enforcement, incident response, and coordination with security personnel and external agencies. The role involves overseeing security operations, evaluating third-party service providers, and implementing safety and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the protection and security of client aircraft and facilities, particularly in hangar and ramp areas.
• Supervise and assess the performance of third-party AVSEC guards and contracted security providers.
• Conduct regular security compliance tests to evaluate guard adherence to performance standards.
• Gather, verify, and analyze intelligence related to employee involvement in illegal activities.
• Lead operational briefings and ensure timely communication of security updates to contracted personnel.
• Prepare official communications for implementing security-related programs and initiatives with service providers.
• Respond to security incidents or accidents, generate reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Conduct security surveys at offsite facilities and inspect outsourced AVSEC personnel.
• Recommend improvements for security infrastructure, including signage, barriers, screening tools, and outposts.
• Generate and analyze reports on security incidents for evaluation and action planning.
• Enforce security and safety policies within the company.
• Deliver briefings and conduct performance assessments of external security staff.
• Coordinate with government and airport security bodies, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.

Qualification

• College Graduate
• Airline /airport operations/ Law enforcement/corporate security experience is preferred
• With background on Security aspect of airport/airline industry/Ground Handling operation or equivalent.
• Working experience more than two (2) years in information gathering/processing and investigation.
• With background on Security aspect of airport/airline industry/Ground handling operations
• Knowledgeable in the application of excel, power point and MS word
