Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week

Aeroco Group is a leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based in Stockport. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a temporary Workshop General Operative roles to strengthen our team and to support the our business during our busy winter period.

Technicians will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of aircraft components in a workshop environment.

The successful candidate will carry out:
Skills & Experience:

• Broad engineering experience gained within an engineering environment
• High level understanding of Workshop task materials and their applicable uses
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & relevant technical manuals
• Ability to assess repairable components identifying applicable repair options
• To be able to carry out DVI/GVI service checks in accordance with aircraft maintenance manuals
• Actively participate in Workshop process continuous improvement
• To be able to carry out component replacement in accordance with relevant aircraft documentation, modification data or service bulletins
• To have an understanding of aviation regularity requirements.
• To carry out work activities and workshop administration in the production workshop and away from base including correct completion of work-packs.
• Full, clean driving licence and passport required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,080.00 per year
