Job Title: Associate Vice President (AVP) – Campaign Analytics Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid

About The Company We are a leading telecommunications and technology organization connecting millions of consumers and businesses through wireless, broadband and digital services.

Our Marketing & Growth Organization operates at significant scale, bringing together advertising, media, customer research, advanced analytics and business strategy to strengthen customer relationships and drive growth.

As the organization evolves how it measures and optimizes marketing performance, we are investing in greater internal ownership of campaign analytics. This transformation creates an opportunity to build a centralized capability that delivers consistent measurement, actionable insights and stronger business outcomes across the enterprise.

Job Summary We are seeking an accomplished AVP of Campaign Analytics to build and lead a next-generation campaign analytics function within our Marketing & Growth Organization.

This executive will lead a significant transformation: bringing campaign analytics capabilities in-house, establishing consistent measurement and reporting standards, and strengthening the organization's ability to independently evaluate and optimize marketing performance.

You'll inherit an established foundation of analytical talent while building the capabilities, operating model and partnerships necessary to create a centralized campaign analytics function. Working closely with Marketing, Media, Sales, Product, Research, Advanced Analytics and agency partners, you'll connect campaign execution with performance measurement and translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

The ideal candidate brings a balanced combination of marketing expertise, analytical depth and executive leadership. You'll understand how campaigns are developed, activated, measured and optimized, while possessing the technical credibility to lead an analytics organization and the communication skills to influence senior stakeholders. This is an opportunity to build a critical enterprise capability, strengthen the organization's ownership of its marketing intelligence and help shape how a major consumer brand makes marketing investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the Campaign Analytics function, transitioning capabilities from external agency partners into a centralized internal organization while establishing a scalable operating model.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of analytics leaders, analysts and campaign specialists, establishing clear accountability, priorities and professional development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive campaign measurement frameworks that evaluate performance across channels, customer segments, campaigns and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Establish consistent analytics methodologies, reporting standards, data definitions and governance practices that create a reliable source of campaign performance intelligence.
  • Partner closely with Media, Advertising and agency teams to understand campaign strategies, media investments, execution plans and performance objectives.
  • Connect campaign-level insights with broader marketing performance to identify optimization opportunities, improve marketing effectiveness and inform future investment decisions.
  • Deliver timely, actionable insights that enable marketing teams to optimize campaigns while in market and improve future campaign planning.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into compelling executive narratives, clearly communicating performance drivers, business implications and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales and Product to ensure campaign analytics reflects business objectives, customer acquisition and retention priorities, and the impact of pricing, packaging and promotional strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical partner to senior marketing leadership, providing the insights and recommendations necessary to support strategic decisions.
  • Maintain accountability for campaign analytics data accuracy, integrity and consistency, establishing processes that build confidence in reporting and decision-making.
  • Establish and oversee centralized reporting, analytics and request-intake processes while managing external partners, vendor costs and the transition of capabilities in-house.
  • Advance the organization's use of AI, automation and emerging analytical technologies to improve the speed, quality and accessibility of campaign insights.
  • Partner with adjacent Research, Marketing Measurement and AI Adoption teams to connect campaign analytics with broader organizational capabilities and initiatives.

Requirements: Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in senior marketing analytics leadership roles, including building, scaling or transforming campaign analytics functions within large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing analytical teams, developing talent and establishing the processes and operating models necessary to deliver consistent business value.
  • Deep experience in campaign analytics, marketing measurement and cross-channel marketing performance, with a strong understanding of how campaigns are planned, executed, evaluated and optimized.
  • Experience working within a large consumer brand or enterprise marketing organization is strongly preferred. Candidates from major agency organizations with comparable leadership experience will also be considered.
  • Experience working closely with large advertising agencies or holding companies, including managing analytical partnerships, reporting deliverables and performance expectations.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives within highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experience managing analytics budgets, developing business cases and evaluating the value of internal versus externally delivered capabilities.
  • Experience establishing analytical frameworks, reporting standards and data governance practices that improve organizational confidence in marketing performance measurement.

Skills:

  • Deep campaign analytics and marketing expertise, with the ability to connect campaign objectives, audience strategy, media execution and performance measurement to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical leadership and technical credibility, with the ability to evaluate complex analytical approaches, challenge assumptions, assess the quality of findings and guide teams toward actionable recommendations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing channels, including paid media, search, social, display, email and other digital and traditional channels, and how they contribute to acquisition, retention and growth.
  • Strong knowledge of campaign measurement methodologies, including A/B testing, segmentation, predictive modeling, attribution and cross-channel performance analysis.
  • Proficiency with analytical and visualization technologies, particularly Power BI and SQL, with sufficient technical depth to evaluate reporting solutions, guide analysts and ensure the integrity of analytical outputs.
  • Working knowledge of Python, R or similar analytical programming languages, with the ability to understand and guide technical work without needing to serve as an everyday developer.
  • Exceptional analytical storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights, compelling presentations and recommendations that influence marketing decisions.
  • Strong understanding of media performance and marketing investment decisions, with the ability to provide insights that help Media and Advertising teams improve campaign effectiveness and allocate resources.
  • Proven ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment, building productive relationships across Marketing, Sales, Product, Research, Analytics and external agency organizations.
  • Strong organizational transformation and change-management capabilities, including establishing new functions, standardizing processes, managing transitions and driving adoption of new analytical capabilities.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect analytical investments and marketing performance to campaign ROI, customer acquisition, retention and enterprise growth.
  • Strong data stewardship and governance instincts, recognizing the importance of accurate, consistent and trusted data in enterprise marketing decisions.
  • An innovation-oriented mindset with practical experience exploring AI, automation or emerging analytical capabilities to improve marketing measurement, reporting and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building or insourcing campaign analytics capabilities previously delivered by external agencies or consulting partners.
  • Experience leading marketing analytics within a large consumer-facing organization, particularly telecommunications, media, technology, financial services or another marketing-intensive industry.
  • Experience working with major advertising holding companies and agency-of-record relationships.
  • Familiarity with marketing mix modeling (MMM) and advanced marketing measurement, particularly when connecting campaign-level insights with broader marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience establishing centralized campaign analytics dashboards, reporting environments or enterprise measurement frameworks using Power BI or comparable technologies.
  • Demonstrated use of AI and emerging analytical technologies to accelerate insight generation, improve reporting or enhance marketing performance.
  • Experience supporting both consumer and business marketing organizations.

Why Join Us This is an opportunity to lead a meaningful transformation within one of the country's most recognized consumer brands. You'll join an established Research, Analytics & Insights organization with dedicated capabilities across customer research, marketing measurement, AI adoption and long-term consumer insights. You'll also inherit an existing team and have the opportunity to expand the function as additional capabilities are brought in-house.

The mandate extends beyond building a team or improving reporting. You'll help establish how the organization measures campaign performance, strengthen its ownership of marketing intelligence and influence decisions across a substantial marketing operation. With executive visibility, an established analytical foundation and significant opportunity to build, this role offers the chance to create a lasting enterprise capability and demonstrate its value at scale.
