The Opportunity

A large, established consumer organization is undergoing a major transformation in how it measures, analyzes, and optimizes marketing performance and is looking for an Associate Vice President of Campaign Analytics to lead the next generation of its campaign analytics function.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building and evolving a centralized analytics capability that connects marketing activity to measurable business outcomes. You’ll lead a team of analysts and campaign specialists while partnering closely with senior Marketing, Sales, Product, and agency stakeholders to establish consistent measurement standards, improve campaign effectiveness, and turn complex data into actionable business recommendations.

The ideal candidate combines deep campaign measurement expertise with strong executive leadership and a builder mentality . You’ll be expected to challenge existing approaches, establish best-in-class frameworks, and introduce new methodologies and technologies — including AI — to improve how campaign performance is understood and optimized.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and lead a high-performing campaign analytics function , developing analysts and campaign specialists while establishing a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the strategy for cross-channel campaign measurement , connecting data across initiatives to provide a holistic view of marketing performance.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement frameworks, dashboards, reporting standards, and analytical approaches that demonstrate campaign impact and inform optimization.
  • Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership , helping improve campaign ROI, customer acquisition, retention, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and external agency partners to align campaign strategy, execution, analytics, and reporting with broader business objectives.
  • Drive in-flight campaign optimization , using data and experimentation to identify opportunities to improve performance while campaigns are running.
  • Advance the organization’s use of AI and emerging analytics capabilities within campaign measurement, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Establish consistent reporting and measurement standards across internal teams, vendors, and agency partners.
  • Oversee external analytics and reporting partners, including vendor costs, business cases, and centralized intake of analytics requests.
  • Ensure strong data quality, governance, and integrity across campaign analytics processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Senior analytics leader with a track record of building and leading campaign analytics functions within large-scale organizations .
  • Deep understanding of marketing campaigns and cross-channel campaign measurement , including how to identify the drivers of performance and translate findings into optimization strategies.
  • Strong expertise across A/B testing, segmentation, predictive modeling, experimentation, and advanced campaign measurement methodologies .
  • Experience measuring performance across digital marketing channels such as paid media, search, social, email, and display.
  • Experience working within or closely alongside large agency groups/holding companies .
  • Proven people leadership experience, including building teams, developing talent, and leading through organizational transformation.
  • Experience managing analytics budgets, vendors, and business cases .
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate analytical findings to senior leaders and influence non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of modern analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python/R, Tableau, and Power BI .
  • Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to analytics, measurement, or marketing use cases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

The Ideal Profile

This role is best suited for someone who has operated at the intersection of marketing strategy, advanced analytics, campaign measurement, and executive leadership . You’re not simply producing reports after a campaign ends — you understand how campaigns work, how to measure incremental impact, how to optimize them while they’re live, and how to influence senior marketing leaders using data.

You’ve ideally built or transformed a campaign analytics capability before and understand what “best in class” looks like across measurement methodologies, platforms, agencies, and operating models.

Other offers great for you!
