Beacon Point Ventures is one of the larger FedEx service providers by territory in the CSRA, and we are looking for reliable, motivated full-time delivery drivers to join our growing team.

As an AVP Delivery Driver, you will use your own qualified vehicle to deliver FedEx packages throughout an assigned service area. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals who take pride in providing professional customer service and completing their deliveries safely and efficiently.

Job Description & Requirements

• Pay: $100–$175 per day
• Drive your own vehicle as part of the Alternative Vehicle Program
• Vehicle must be less than 12 years old
• Vehicle must be capable of being fully locked and secured
• Acceptable vehicles include:
• Sedans
• Station wagons
• SUVs
• Minivans
• Pickup trucks with a secure, lockable bed cover
• Personal vehicle and insurance required — vehicle must have appropriate personal auto insurance
• When applying, please provide the year, make, and model of the vehicle you intend to use
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of one year of licensed driving experience
• Previous delivery or courier experience is preferred, but not required
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record; Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be reviewed
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening at no cost to the applicant
• No DOT physical is required

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate your personal vehicle while making assigned FedEx deliveries
• Use a handheld scanner equipped with GPS, stop information, and package information
• Navigate efficiently to assigned delivery locations
• Accurately scan and deliver packages
• Follow all delivery procedures and customer instructions
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Maintain a safe and organized vehicle
• Complete assigned deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow all applicable FedEx and Beacon Point Ventures safety and operating procedures

How you get paid: You're paid $1.50 per stop, not a flat day rate. Drivers running 15-20 stops per hour typically earn $22-$30 per hour. The more efficient you are, the more you make.

$25.00 gas allowance each day worked

We're looking for highly reliable people. This is a W-2 role with a set schedule. We need drivers who show up on time, every scheduled day, because our customers & our team depend on it.
