AVP Driver – FedEx Ground (Personal Vehicle Program)

About the Role

Black & Gold Logistics is hiring reliable AVP (Approved Vehicle Program) Drivers to deliver FedEx Ground packages using their personally owned vehicle. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who want consistent work, overtime opportunities, and a straightforward delivery role with strong support from our leadership team.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver packages safely and accurately on a daily route
• Plan your route for efficient stop sequencing and time management
• Use your personally owned vehicle to complete deliveries
• Maintain vehicle readiness (fuel, cleanliness, safety checks)
• Communicate on‑road issues or delays to management
• Support terminal operations as needed
• Follow all FedEx Ground safety and compliance standards
• Work weekends as needed (6‑day operation)

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Must pass drug screening
• Must be available during peak season (December)
• Ability to lift and carry packages safely
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
• Must own a qualifying vehicle (details below)

Qualifying Vehicle Requirements

Your personally owned vehicle must meet FedEx Ground AVP standards:

• Sedan, SUV, minivan, or small crossover
• Model year 2008 or newer
• Minimum 50 cubic feet of cargo space (rear seats may be folded down)
• Good mechanical condition with no major body damage
• Working heat, A/C, headlights, brake lights, and turn signals
• Pass FedEx Ground vehicle inspection
• Valid insurance meeting FedEx minimum coverage
• No commercial branding or external advertising
• Able to safely carry and secure packages
