AVP, Fund Administration Professional

Main Responsibilities :

• Mainly to support Fund Administration Services
• Manage the daily administration of client funds, including static data setup, transactions updating, securities pricing uploading, trade processing, reconciliations, reporting and investigate out of tolerance / exceptions items
• Prepare the Net Asset Value Package to clients within the agreed timeline as outlined in the service level agreements
• Conduct compliance monitoring as per the investment restrictions of the portfolio and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review financial statements, SFC regulatory reports, and client-specific documentation
• Handle day-to-day enquiries and requests from fund managers, and communicate with different stakeholders
• Capable of independently performing operation processes, investigating issues, identifying the risk, reinforcing controls, and improving efficiency of workflows
• Participate in UAT testing on regular system upgrade and system enhancement
• Handle ad hoc assignments and projects

Requirements :

• University degree with major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience in fund administration
• Possess SFC Type 1 / Type 13 license, or other relevant qualification （e.g. CPA, CFA, FRM) is a plus
• Familiar with front office, middle office and back office workflow in securities services. Experiences in handling funds with different structure, such as PE funds, SFC authorised funds, ETFs, LPFs
• Strong understanding of fund administration processes and regulatory requirements
• Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines, with good analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese
• Well-versed in computer applications such as VBA and other related MS applications
