We are looking for an experienced  AVP – Operations  to lead and scale large, complex operations across multiple AI Data and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) programs.

This role will be responsible for  end-to-end operational ownership , including project execution, delivery, global client and stakeholder management, POCs, team leadership, quality, productivity, and scaling of programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead  large-scale, multi-project operations  across AI Data and Human-in-the-Loop programs

• Manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring  quality, productivity, timelines, SLAs, and delivery outcomes

• Oversee programs across  data collection, data annotation, labelling, content moderation, computer vision/NLP annotation, AI training data, and HITL SME workflows

• Lead and manage  egocentric / first-person data collection and annotation projects , including operational planning, execution, quality management, and delivery

• Manage multiple  POCs (Proofs of Concept)  simultaneously, from project initiation and resource planning through execution, client validation, and scale-up

• Work closely with  global clients across different geographies and time zones , building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication and delivery

• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, managing expectations, requirements, escalations, and overall program performance

• Provide strategic and operational direction to project teams and proactively navigate project challenges and dependencies

• Build, manage, and develop high-performing teams across multiple projects and workflows

• Establish strong operational governance around  quality, productivity, capacity, utilization, timelines, and delivery

• Own operational escalations and drive timely resolution of complex project and delivery challenges

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, quality, and cost effectiveness

• Partner with senior leadership to scale new programs and transition successful POCs into sustainable operations

Key Requirements

- 15+ years of experience  in operations, program/project management, AI Data, Data Services, BPO/KPO, technology operations, or related environments

• Strong experience managing  large-scale operations and multiple projects simultaneously

• Proven experience managing projects involving  data collection, data annotation, labelling, content moderation, computer vision/NLP annotation, and AI training data

• Hands-on experience managing  egocentric / Physical AI data projects , preferably involving data collection, annotation, quality control, or AI/ML training datasets

• Experience managing  Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) programs and SME-led workflows

• Strong experience in  POC management , including planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, client validation, and scaling

• Demonstrated ability to manage operations  end-to-end , from project initiation through delivery and continuous improvement

• Proven experience  working with global clients across geographies , cultures, and time zones

• Strong  client-facing and stakeholder management  experience, with the ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders

• Excellent people leadership skills with experience managing large and/or distributed teams

• Strong understanding of  project governance, operational metrics, capacity planning, quality management, SLAs, and process improvement

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complex operational challenges

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a senior operations leader who can bring together  strong execution, project management, global client leadership, and operational excellence .

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience taking complex AI Data programs from  POC → execution → stabilization → scale , while managing teams, global clients, stakeholders, quality, timelines, and delivery outcomes.
