AVP, Production Process & Quality Control

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AVP – Production Process & Quality Control to lead and oversee production process development, continuous improvement, and product quality control at our manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for establishing strategies, policies, and operational plans to ensure production processes and product quality consistently meet company objectives, customer requirements, and relevant standards.

Job Description

• Lead and oversee policies, strategies, plans, and targets for production process development, process improvement, and product quality control in alignment with company objectives and applicable standards.
• Direct and monitor the improvement and development of production processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
• Manage overall operations related to production process improvement and quality control, ensuring effective implementation within agreed plans, standards, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to understand market trends, customer requirements, and product needs, and translate these insights into production development and quality improvement plans.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and business relationships with domestic and international customers, government agencies, private organizations, and distributors to support business objectives and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement production process techniques and quality control methodologies to meet customer requirements and company policies.
• Lead and oversee the management of the Test Laboratory (Test Lab), including testing processes, equipment, standards, and compliance with customer requirements and applicable regulations.
• Ensure testing equipment and laboratory operations are properly controlled, maintained, and aligned with relevant quality standards and customer specifications.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, quality excellence, and operational efficiency across production and quality functions.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the PPQC team to achieve departmental objectives and develop team capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production, manufacturing process development, quality control, or a related field, with significant experience in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of production process improvement, quality control systems, product testing, and manufacturing standards.
• Experience in managing or overseeing a Test Laboratory and product testing equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, distributors, government agencies, and cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English, particularly for communication with international customers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work plant-based and travel domestically or internationally when required.
