What they need
Awake Overnight Youth Program Worker
Kadiri House is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and highly responsible Awake Overnight Youth Program Worker to support boys ages 8–17 in our residential program.
This is more than an overnight monitoring position. You will help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment while youth rest, prepare the home for the next day, complete required documentation, and respond appropriately if a resident needs support during the night.
If you are dependable, calm under pressure, organized, and passionate about helping young people succeed, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
As an Awake Overnight Youth Program Worker, you will:
- Remain awake and alert throughout the entire overnight shift
- Maintain supervision and ensure resident safety throughout the night
- Respond appropriately to nighttime concerns, emergencies, behavioral needs, or residents who awaken during the night
- Complete accurate overnight documentation and resident progress notes
- Document significant events, concerns, and interventions
- Support late-evening and early-morning resident routines
- Assist residents with morning preparation when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe residential environment
- Complete overnight household tasks, including laundry and light cleaning
- Monitor pantry, refrigerator, household, and resident supplies
- Assist with organizing and maintaining resident records and paperwork
- Review information needed to support continuity between overnight and day shifts
- Help prepare the home and daily schedule for the incoming team
- Follow resident treatment plans, safety plans, program expectations, and supervision requirements
- Complete all required Kadiri House and Minnesota DHS training
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
- Perform additional program-support duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
