AWF Developer

About the Role

Accenture Malaysia is looking for an experienced Senior AWF Developer to join the Shared Platform team under the AWF sub-domain .

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using OpenText AppWorks , while leveraging strong technical expertise in Java, JavaScript, Angular, and MS SQL . You will work across both Windows and Linux environments , ensuring applications are scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using OpenText AppWorks .
• Build and support front-end and back-end solutions using Java, JavaScript, and Angular .
• Integrate applications with MS SQL databases for data management, reporting, and business functionality.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security across Windows and Linux platforms .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Analyze complex technical issues and recommend effective solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–9 years of experience in software development or enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText AppWorks is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Angular development.
• Strong understanding of MS SQL database design, integration, and troubleshooting .
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux operating environments .
• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to other BPM platforms such as Pega, K2, or IBM BPM .
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines .
• Experience working in enterprise application environments.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and support technical delivery.
