Role: AWS AI/Data Engineer
Location: Lafayette, LA / Knoxville, TN / Birmingham, AL
Type: Full Time Direct Hire (Benefits - 401K + Relocation expenses + etc.)
Only apply if you have 8+ years of experience and are open to W-2 opportunities or H-1B transfers.
Responsibilities:
- Practical experience with AI/GenAI tools on AWS — think Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q, or similar platforms
- Comfortable working with embeddings, RAG patterns, and vector databases
- Solid background with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift)
- Experience building data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows
- Know your way around CloudWatch for logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and tuning performance
- Comfortable collaborating with security, data, and application teams to support POCs and drive AI/cloud adoption.
