I'm working with a fantastic Swiss technology company looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer who wants ownership, exposure and freedom

This is a chance to get involved from the beginning: understand the client's challenge, design the solution, build it, automate it and actually see the impact of your work.

What you'll actually be doing

You'll design and engineer AWS environments, build multi-account architectures, automate infrastructure using Terraform/IaC , work with CI/CD , support cloud migrations and develop secure, scalable solutions for customers.

But this isn't purely a keyboard-and-headphones role.

You'll speak directly with clients, understand what they're trying to achieve, translate that into a technical solution and help lead projects through to delivery.

So if you enjoy the consulting side of engineering as much as the technical side, even better.

The techy bit 👩‍💻👨‍💻

We're looking for experience around:

AWS | Terraform | Infrastructure as Code | CI/CD | Cloud Architecture | Cloud Migration | Networking | Security | REST APIs | Scripting

AWS Solutions Architect certification is important, and additional AWS Security or Advanced Networking knowledge is a big plus.

You'll ideally have 2+ years of professional cloud experience and be comfortable taking real responsibility for solutions and projects.

Fluent German is required for this one , as you'll be working directly with Swiss clients.

And the human bit...

You don't need to know absolutely everything.

I'd rather speak with someone technically strong, curious and genuinely excited about cloud engineering who wants to keep learning than someone who simply ticks every keyword on a job description.
